Hanfu Hairpin, Lucky

Traditional Chinese Style hair accessories perfect for hanfu, cheongsam, qipao, and even modern dresses.

Hanfu hair accessories can vary widely in style, material, and design, but they all serve the purpose of enhancing the wearer's appearance and adding an extra touch of elegance to their hair. Some notable hair accessories commonly associated with Hanfu are hairpins (发簪, fāzān), hair combs (发篦, fābì), tassels (流苏, liúsū), hair ornaments (发髻, fājì), hairbands and headpieces (发饰, fāshì).

In traditional Hanfu culture, the hairstyle and the accompanying accessories are considered important elements that complete the overall look and reflect the wearer's social status, fashion sense, and personal style.

Care Instructions

How to care for your Hanfu?

  • Hanfu garments are mostly delicate, especially those with embroidery, so handwashing is preferred.
  • If you choose to machine wash, use the gentlest cycle and place the garment in a laundry bag for protection.
  • After washing, hang the Hanfu indoors in a well-ventilated area to dry.
  • Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight to prevent color fading.

  • Store your Hanfu in breathable fabric garment bags to protect it.
  • Avoid hanging Hanfu for long periods, as it may stretch the fabric. Instead, carefully fold the garments and store them flat or stack them neatly in a storage container.
