A traditional two-piece Chinese wedding dress worn by women in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It is characterized by a jacket with mandarin collar or a jacket with a right lapel, and an A-line skirt for the bottom. The A-line skirt, known as Mamian Skirt, features a center pendulum area embroidered with motifs.
Unlike Qun Kwa, Xiu He Fu has a wider variety of motifs. They can include Dragon, Phoenix, peonies, cranes, or any types of flowers and animals that in Chinese culture and traditions represents marital joy and good fortune.
